Oral History Intern, History Department, Augustana College (November 2010 – August 2011)

I researched American feminism, particularly the National Organization for Women in the 1970s and 1980s. I recorded sessions with a former Quad Cities NOW member with the purpose of documenting the activities of the chapter and her association with it. I processed her personal collection for donation to Augustana Special Collections, and wrote a paper based on the transcript and my research.

Senior Archives Intern, Girl Scouts of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois (March 2010 – July 2010)

I supervised two archives interns, wrote a manual for future interns and volunteers, and created a disaster recovery plan for the archives. I appraised, accessioned, processed, and digitized archival materials, and performed basic preservation tasks.
